| Prior to the national training conferences, each attendee received a padlock style key chain with a key attached along with preliminary meeting literature and agenda. At each training location, attendees were given the opportunity to see if their key would open a treasure chest that contained premium incentive gifts ranging from electronics to travel vacations. In addition, all attendees received embroidered golf shirts and a writing instrument. For each classroom session, a wide variety of "prizes" were distributed to attendees who made a positive contribution to the class, and after the training sessions were over, "Star Performers" received a star shaped silver-plated Post It note holder. The program was a huge success, and provided a blueprint for future successful national training events for the Philip Morris USA field sales force. |
